A Quiet Return From One of Americas Most Enduring Voices

The new official music video Hello Out There brings renewed attention to the legacy of Johnny Cash through a deeply personal visual story that connects family, memory, and previously unreleased music. Directed by Matt Paskert, known for work with Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, and Larry Fleet, the video presents a quiet and emotional narrative rather than a traditional performance based production.

The video stars six year old Grace June Cash, the youngest granddaughter of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. She is the daughter of John Carter Cash and his wife Ana Cristina Cash. In the black and white visual presentation, Grace is shown beginning an independent journey that leads her to the Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This location holds strong historical significance as the creative space where Johnny Cash wrote and recorded some of his final songs and where the project Songwriter was later produced.

The atmosphere of the video is intentionally minimal and reflective. Instead of relying on spectacle, it focuses on symbolism and generational connection. The Cash Cabin appears not only as a physical place but also as a representation of artistic heritage and personal history within the Cash family.

The project Songwriter includes eleven previously unreleased recordings from 1993. All of the songs are written solely by Johnny Cash, highlighting his continued creative output during that period. The album has been co produced by John Carter Cash and David Ferguson. It also features new musical arrangements performed by artists including Marty Stuart, Dave Roe, Pete Abbott, along with guest contributions from Dan Auerbach and Vince Gill.

Hello Out There ultimately serves as both a tribute and a continuation of artistic legacy. It bridges generations of the Cash family while offering audiences a rare glimpse into the creative world of one of Americas most influential songwriters.
